Team LIBC Shines at the Pan Am Selection

Team LIBC proudly took the court for the Pan Am Selection, where some of the strongest junior badminton athletes competed for a chance to represent the United States on the international stage in Brazil.

This event carried major importance, as only the top 3 candidates earn the opportunity to qualify and represent Team USA. Every match demanded focus, discipline, and heart, and our LIBC athletes showed the fighting spirit we are so proud of.

Leading our team courtside was Master Head Coach Chibing Wu, whose experience proved invaluable throughout the tournament. As a former Chinese & Spain National Team player, former USA National Team Head Coach, and World Championship bronze medalist, Coach Wu traveled with our athletes to provide elite-level coaching, match strategy, and unwavering support. His leadership continues to play a vital role in developing champions at LIBC.

A huge congratulations to Jason Gu for qualifying! This incredible achievement is the result of his hard work, dedication, and countless hours of training. Jason’s success is not only a proud moment for him and his family, but also for the entire LIBC community.

We would also like to congratulate Zechariah Wang and Bryce Xie for earning 5th place as consolation winners. Their strong performance, effort, and fighting spirit made the LIBC family proud.

We are beyond proud of Team LIBC for stepping up to this challenge and representing our club with passion and determination.
